Chartered in 2002, the First Coast Chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals serves CHMM's around Florida's First Coast.  The Chapter provides professional development, peer networking, and opportunities for maintaining credentials.

The Alliance (formerly known as the Academy of Hazardous Materials Managers) is a professional association with a membership of more than 4,000 of the nation’s leading experts in environmental, health, safety and security management.

Our Mission

The Chapter's mission is to provide a balanced program for its members in at least the following five areas:

• Environmental Health and Safety
• Regulatory Compliance and Policy
• Science and Technology
• Hazardous Materials Handling, Emergency Response and Remediation
• Strategic Environmental Management
